Eric Jones is the Chief of Staff at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. As Chief of Staff, he serves as an adviser to the agency’s President and Chief Executive Officer, providing guidance and leadership on strategy, operations, and policy matters. Jones previously served as Senior Advisor with a focus on OPIC’s work in the Indo-Pacific region.
Prior to his current appointment, Jones served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S Small Business Administration. He has held various executive positions in the entertainment industry such as Fox, Warner Bros., and Disney focused on strategy, business development, and new technologies. Jones started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. In addition, his passion for product, brand, and technology led to several product developments and personal investments in many early stage companies.
Jones is a Larry Wolfen Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recipient. He earned his MBA at UCLA Anderson and graduated cum laude with a BA in Economics from Cornell University where he was a member of Quill and Dagger.
